Norwegians love the outdoors and are generally fairly environmentally friendly. Norwegians are quite tolerant and often very helpful. They're fun and friendly, though outside of the big cities they can be a bit reserved around strangers. Many Norwegians are very bright, and they tend to be group-oriented, which means that teams work well and fewer people are interested in "getting ahead" at the expense of the people they're working with.
Norway is a very beautiful country, with a widely varied landscape. Although it can get fairly cold up north, the south is relatively temperate, but the winters get very, very dark. In general, the country is rooted in tradition, but it's very open to change and quickly adopts new technologies and advancements, many of which are fueled by the country's relatively new-found oil wealth.
