Graphics turned me off initially but it grew on me and added to its charm. This isn't the perfect game and I agree you can just mindlessly spam attack to win every fight (I assume it isn't on the higher difficulties) but this is a side-scrolling ARPG.

What got me hooked was the very bizarre storytelling this game has which has me drop my jaw at multiple moments and it keeps delivering and keeps me interested. Just try it, it's not even asking your wallet a very big price and you'll get your ROI really quick (unless you're unemployed, go prioritize getting some money).

Two pretty but ditsy American girls are on a road trip through Europe. In Germany, they end up alone at night and when their car breaks down, they take shelter in an isolated villa. They wake in the morning to find themselves in a makeshift hospital along with a Japanese man. Here they meet a psychotic German surgeon whose life-long fantasy is to connect humans together via their gastric systems.

Upbeat and effeminate Pico is working at his grandfather's coffee shop, Café Bebe, for the summer. Tamotsu is a white-collar worker looking for an escape from the mundanity of his everyday life. When they meet at the café, sparks of love and lust quickly draw the two together. Conventional notions of age, gender, and sexuality are broken down as the pair seeks carnal gratification in one another's company. But do the pleasures of flesh equate to a connection between hearts?
