I'm some guy that lives in Australia. I'm into video games, watching anime (occasionally) and chatting with people. What music do I listen to? Anything really. No set genre I like. I tend to lean towards old rock/pop and electronic though.
I'm mainly interested in FPS and strategy games, especially MOBAs. I'm a PC Gamer, however I spend quite a lot of time playing my Nintendo 3DS too. I mainly watch light hearted comedy/slice of life anime because I'm usually just in it for a good laugh.
Games I play (As of the 25th of Janurary 2012):
League of Legends
DotA2
Counter Strike: Source
Call of Duty 4

<I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME>
Rise of the Immortals is awful compared to the big mobas like LoL, DotA and HoN. Gameplay is the same, minions, towers, destroy the enemy base. The roster of playable characters is quite small and the art design is dull and feels unprofessional. The characters themselves play like DotA as character skills all do different things and aren't nessesarily strung together in a combo. The core mechanics are too simple. To obtain stronger items you have to upgrade the weaker items, granting increased and similar stats on the item. (A mana regen item might upgrade to bonus mana + higher mana regen)
There's a mixed feel of LoL and DotA to be found but it leans more to LoL. Characters will run out of mana but it's kind of inbetween "you won't run out of mana as long as you don't spam" and "use one ability and you're oom". Recall to base is present but deny is not. My Steam avatar as of the 3rd of Janurary 2012 represents my feelings towards this game. 4/10 game.
I don't know why I didn't play this earlier. I played the sequel but never the original. The game has obvious signs of age, after all the game was released in 2003, still it is very much tolerable and does not dampen the experience. The game has a solid D&D styled RPG system, with skills, armors, stats, the lot. I personally found the story and plot immersive and well thought out. The game plays true to the Star Wars universe, displaying a whole range of Light Side/Dark Side choices, worlds, characters that are humble to the series. I got a solid 20-25 hours gameplay time out of it, doing most of the side quests and immersing myself in the game. The ending did not dissapoint and there were very few times in the game where it got boring.
10/10 game, would easily rank it as one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
