This is not about personally knowing the developer, nor about my name appearing on the credits twice. But I finished this in two sittings --because I had to go to work the next day; otherwise it would have been just one.

While I didn't cry like many other players claim to have after their personal experiences with To the Moon, I was moved to the point that it made me reflect upon many aspects of myself, of my life, my relationships, and how I see the rest of the world. It made me think about to which extents one's selfishness is allowed to go in order for us to meet our desires, or whether that's selfishness at all. It also made me ponder on the concept of reality. This, and many other things, really.

I am forever glad to have been, if only a very small part of this project, and to have the honor of playing through this fantastic journey that has nothing to do with mighty heroes, dragons, dungeons and other magical things; yet a journey just as worthy of my time and attention.

This game is way underrated.

Overall, it's very interesting, especially in the mechanics, and it's fun to explore the world of Arx Fatalis (which is like a big, big dungeon). The story has its moments, too. It starts a little cliché, but then it gets better. :)

I still hope for a sequel.

Super relaxing, lovely and dreamy atmosphere and music, and often challenging.
