this feels like a Disney cartoon gone horribly wrong. which is a good thing. probably the most fun I had with an action game all year.

good multiplayer shooter with tons of stuff to do: lots of unlockables, game modes, maps. also: solid single player campaign (5-7 hours, I guess) and competent bots for offline play. there's no reason not to buy this at its regular price.

Faerie Solitaire has kept me busy for 9 hours so far. It's your regular solitaire game with some more or less useless extra features, like the ability to raise some fantasy creatures, whose eggs can be randomly found under cards. Updates that directly influence gameplay can be bought and there's 30 achievements to get. Add to that some extra gameplay modes (challenge mode), and you have a pretty little time-waster. (Just don't bother with the cutscenes. Who cares about story? This is a solitaire game, dammit!)
