I think this one has kind of slipped under the radar, which is a shame, 'cause there's nothing quite like a good, cheesy bug-hunt. If you've ever wanted to play a game where you suit up and break out some heavy firepower to pulverize a giant horde of man-eating bugs, look no further. Just be warned that it gets pretty grindy after you're done with the campaign the first time around.
More people need to get this game. But do yourself a favour and make sure you pick up the DLC weapon packages, as they'll really help even the odds in your favour.
Trust me, you'll need them.
An EXCELLENT revival of the space-shooter/exploration/adventure genre. If you love games like Star Control 2, you are doing yourself a grave disservice by not checking this game out.
Often compared to Minecraft, but I'm not sure that's entirely fair. Terraria has a decent idea of where it's going and where it wants to be, and a much greater emphasis on action and adventure. It might not be as awesome for minecraftian megaprojects, but it's a solid game in its own right.
