THX to Valve´s latest "update" (steampipe).
Me, and alot good map-builders, are no longer able to continue work propper.
So by waiting for about a month already, and tried alot of workarounds in meanwhile,
(without success my end so far) the lil hope that valve fix it, starts fading away.

Desperate n disappointed how things turn about HL2DM n the SDK/Hammer these days,
I´m gonna quit all activities @ Steam soon. Cause i can´t take it anymore.
It feels like they want to rape this pretty game and its community to death.

To all my friends on Steam,
its far from being easy taking that step, it hurts n i´m sorry,
but Valve does not deserve further attention my end.
Spend alot of money, time n love, tried as much as i could,
to add something my end, to keep HL2DM alive a lil longer.
But now it looks like the end to me, more n more players leaving the stage,
1 sever after the next disappears, caused by Valve Killing its own game/tools.

So in consequence, to quit, seems the only possible way my end,
to maybe let Valve take notice, about how they disappoint the customer on some stuff.

valve sucks, 1one step forward and seven backwards each time, even basic skybox or nodraw no longer works.FFS they need to get a programmer that knows what he is doing

and lost it again^^ some reported new issues on compile // cubemap and texture based.. ARGH

hmm..
look of it.. very nice
playability.. not good at all

some parts of story/gameplay (mostly bossfight scenes) old fashioned
3rd person view .. (not beeing able to switch to something else) not my kind of thing
action sequences with the need of fast-react to displayed buttons.. hm
some maps gameplay.. omg (just not enough space.. very smal corridors aE)
collecting points to buy special skills (perk a like) pfff
movement-abilities of the characters are (sometimes?) very annoying

if ur a hardcore RE fan, and can go with that.. ok
my opinion: only half that good, it could have been done.

woohoo that is interresting.. nice puzzles, unique look n feel. which way to go? what? where am i now? pretty good confusion .)

pretty good looking game.
if u like zombies, climb/jump/run n puzzles,
including a dark atmosphere.. u should give it a go.
