aw that sucks, id probably have difficulty connecting to anyone in america too being in Thailand. Only my GF works mostly that Ive tried. Internet is fast there though. Be sure your both using the steam full version and neither is using the Beta-Opt In version of steam.

@joelc23 Great game but I've had an immense ammount of difficulty playing it online with another buddy on steam. The game never connects to he host no matter who's hosting...

@joelc23 Never played Orcs Must Die 2 but I've heard great things about it. Portal 2 is amazing though :)

Personally, I was a big fan of Borderlands 1. I'm only about 12 levels in so far in Borderlands 2 and I already feel that it's a huge improvement. The coherency of the narrative, the writing, the voice acting... the GUNS. Everything is pretty awesome.

Can't really remember the last time I played a game with such and epic single player campaign. This is one of the good ones. Think Half Life 2, Dragon Age: Origins and Star Wars: KotoR kind of good.
