This game is the proof that there can come good things from the Mobile Game scene... see... i never thought i would write that sentence, but here i have to.

Originally released on the app store and for androids, then converted to a well done PC version that has no technical flaws as far as i can see. Brought to Steam Greenlight and voted by the community to be sold on steam. And the community was very right in this one.

This game is much more an exploration adventure as it is a platformer, the story is dragging you in and there is allways something new to discover or to try out. Your exploration and experimentation gets rewarded. It starts of slow but gets more complex the deeper you go, unveiling the mysteries of Mars on the way.

I do like the characters in the game, for some reason i can really identify with the main character, and the voice of the woman is just adorable.

The main theme of the game is building ecosystems in caves. Thats what you do to generate biomass to advance in the story... Sounds dry, yes. But belive me its interresting and fun when you get involved.

You also can mess it up. This game has the possibility of making and breaking the biosystems that you manage and build. Too many games have the possibility of failing completly eradicated, and thats not a good thing.

The graphical style... alot of pepole seem to dislike it. For me, it simply works. And its unique and gives the game its own charme. Also, because of this it will be remembered, even in some years from now. I prefer that than cutting edge graphics with zero gameplay.

Now go and buy this gem of a game and play it, its worth your time and money!

Did you play "Panzer Genaral" back in the good old days?
If the answer is yes, this will bring back very fond memories.

Its a tactical wargame that works with hexes (altough sadly, no nato markers).
Very simple explained: You have units and there are turns, you have objectives to take, and the way you do it is up to you. The faster you are, the better. There is a campagin and scenarios. The game is easy to learn and quick to get into.

It has obviously not the depht of a grand strategy game like "Hearts of Iron", but thats not what it aims for, its just about the battles, and this it does very well. There are aspects like supply and airstrikes, and also resource points (prestige) for reinforcments. Overall this is historically quite accurate, down to the unit names and battle lines. Graphically it is very well drawn and nicely animated, sounds are good as well.

If you have a drop of strategy gamer blood in you, you should buy and play this right now. Its worth every cent! =)

This may be free to play, but that dosent mean its a bad game, i am sure it would have sold well as a full price title as well.

If you like FAST shooters, like Quake or the original Tribes, this is for you.
If you like to have a competitive enviroment in your gaming and dont want to play something that is "easy", give this a try, its challenging to master (not that i would ever be able to master it).

The classes are uniqe in their roles on the battlefield and all have a purpouse.
The gold you can buy & the ingame shop are unintrusive and it is NOT PAY TO WIN.
The leveling up mechanics are overall okay, sure there is grind, but that also keeps you playing as well.

Overall its not only free but also fun to play, so give it a try =)

This is a great game, its, for me at least, a spiritual sucessor to Masters of Orion, if you remember that.
The UI is very well done, its a joy to navigate around, other games can definatly learn from it.
The combat is the weakest point, but its not the main point of the game. It is pretty to watch, but you have not much influence besides the cards you research or get in other ways. You can skip it if you want it tough.
This game is more focused on expanding, exploring, managing your empire and planets, and of course the development of new technologies. Diplomacy is in it too of course.

Overall it gets 8.5 out of 10 points from me, a definitive must play game if you like strategy games!

This game is disappointing, because it could have been so much better.

The biggest gripe i have with it, is that you can´t create your own solider like in former games, but there are many more flaws on the gameplay level. No Fog of War, No general Inventory, No training for soliders or militia, an easily exploitable enemy AI, and a few minor things. Overall it feels like a dumbed down and way easier version of JA2.

On the technical side its not flawless either. The UI is cumbersome to use, the Map is hard to navigate. And my favourite pet peeve: The keys are not customizable. Overall its a step backwards compared to JA2.

But with all those flaws, i still will play it, because there isnt alot else in this genre at the moment. It is still entertaining overall and i want to explore the map and play through the story.

Give it a try if you really liked the former Jagged Alliance games, but dont set your hopes too high, this is not a new masterpiece, its a medicore game.

This Game is definatly recommended. It shows you in brutal honesty that there are no easy solutions to global problems. Every action you do can (and most likely will) cause side effects. Dont expect solutions tough, its just a game after all, but one that makes you think a bit. Technically and graphically its allright, works fine for me. The devs keep improving it still with patches and scenarios.

I was sceptical; Its a console port from an not well known studio.
But this game really suprised me, its a bit like Serious Sam, but with Bugs and Aliens.

You cant approach this game with high expectations, because then it will not deliver.
The graphics are surley not awesome or great, they do their job neverthless.
This is a solid port all in all, keys can be reassigned, resolutions can be set.
Framerate seems to be capped, not good, but with all the action youre probably too busy to notice it. I encountered no crashes or technical problems... but millions of BUGS ;)

Its addicting, you unlock weapons and levels for your class. You can play the campagin and a survival mode, off- and online with online co-op. (havent tried online yet).

If you are looking for cheap, mindless action, lots of explosions, the ability to flatten whole cities and kill tons of bugs and aliens - this is it.
No thinking, planning or strategy... Just you, lots of guns and the Bugs.

I have to admit, this game is extremly addicting to me, i am not 100% sure why.
Its a bit like the Torchlight of space games, you collect and fight and go just on for the next level - again and again.

It gets a bit repetitive after you have explored a good part of the galaxy and you have seen most of the missions, but still its fun for me, after more than 20 hours. Well worth the price from a play time / price perspective. And I havent even seen any zombies yet... so theres more of the story still for me =)

There is a Storyline to follow and side missions, some funny ones too. You have alot of technologies and shiptypes to discover, different tactics you can try out, and the graphics are pretty and colourfull.

I also played the beta before it was on steam, it allready has improved alot since that version and the Developers want to deliver even more content.
You can register this game on steam wherever you have bought it, thats also great.

If you dont have it allready - get it!

Holy Zombie Apocalypse, Batman!

This is a gem under the Indie Games, and i dont say that easily.
It has a well thought out strategic system, it is Moddable,
it has awesome music, it is extremly addicting,
it has a funny but also strange Storyline,
it has cool achievments and replayability.
It has Zombies, Llama Bombs & Mercenaries.
No problems or bugs encountered.
It looks quite polished, and most important... Its really FUN =)

Thats a whole lot for the price its sold, dont you think?
Get it NOW!

I am a bit torn between love and hate with this game.
For a perfectionist like i am, its a bit of a nightmare, because some of the levels are really tricky and hard to master (to get all the gold coins you can collect).
The good thing is, you dont have to do that if you dont want it =)
You can also try to get the best time, on online leaderboards too, so there is a time factor in the game, but it can be also ignored if you dont care about that.

The game works flawlessy on my machine. The visuals are pretty and fitting altough not groundbreaking, i really like the different ship designs and effects you can unlock. Also there are sometimes different paths you can take to get to different alternative levels.
The controls took me a little while to get used to them, but when you do, its fine.

For the asking price this is a fair deal, you get plenty of playtime for the money.
Overall i think you might like this game if you enjoy a challenge, because it is really challenging later on =)

I have just scratched the surface of this game yet, but i am allready impessed how entertaining and polished it is. I really like it, and this is even more suprising for me, because i normally dont like Real Time Strategy games, but i guess its more a Tactical Strategy game.

What i dont like alot is all the DLC that you have to pay for, but half of the stuff is cosmetic and the other half are races for Multiplayer, so its not that a big deal.

Graphics are great, no crashes or bugs that i would have seen. Its deffinatly a solid Single player experience, the MP looks good too and there is also a coop multiplayer mode called "The Last Stand" thats really fun together with other pepole.

Overall i am suprised how good this is, its deffinatly recommended if you like the genre.

Okay, here it is, after all these years of waiting... It somehow felt like a duty for me to get this game, i still remember when i played the first DN game.

I wont tell you to buy it or not, but i can tell you, that overall it is a game that i had great fun with.

Sure the game has some negatives, the health regeneration i can get over with, but the 2 weapon limit and the quicktime button-smash stuff is annoying. The Graphics are not great by nowadays standards, but also not horrible. I didnt had any crashes or bugs.
On the positive side is that the game manages to make you laugh, and it has alot of references to other games. The levels are diverse and entertaining (but also quite linear).

This is not the Duke Nukem of 1991 or 1996, it is a new one, dumbed down, easier & consolized, to carter to the masses. The times have truly changed. But still it is not what i would call a bad game, it does some things right that make playing it fun, at least for me.

If you ever feel like you want to take a scary trip... this game is your ticket for it.

If you are interrested in a great Tower Defense game, this is the one you want to play!
Its really loads of fun, and easy to get into while offering a lot of maps to perfect your skills.
Even if you never played such a game before, it will addict you =)
