It's like Mario Kart with planes- and less overpowered power-ups. Very fast and lots of fun. Get it so we can multiplayer!

Disclaimer: if you don't have a pad or something similar, don't bother.

Jamestown is an old-style top-down shooter that has it all: finely detailed 2D graphics, an amazing soundtrack which really elevates the experience and (most importantly) is an absolute blast to play. It's not particularly long placed end-to-end, but it's wonderfully exciting the whole way through.

The difficultly curve is nicely rounded so even if you're not great at these sorts of games you can ease in and gradually increase in skill. The story is ridiculously cool, to boot.
