"The Red Circle"

Welcome to the 71st Infantry Division, "The Red Circle," a Day of Defeat: Source Realism unit. Our goal is to strive to recreate a realistic type of gaming through the game Day of Defeat: Source by using correct ranks and insignia during World War II.

Acitivated July 15, 1943, the 71st was based out of Camp Carson, Colorado. The 71st first saw combat on March 11, 1945. Crossing the Rhine and captruing town after town. They later pushed onto Austria and liberated over 80 small concentration camps. They were then sent home and deactivated on March 11, 1946, Camp Kilmer, New Jersey.
