The increased difficulty is usually for the better, but sometimes the levels are just unnecessarily long, complicated, or tossing together mechanics so you need to pause and remember what each symbol means, because they are ALL on the board.

Level 5-3 is a great example of where the game shines, elegantly using the mechanics. I think I enjoyed the first one more with its elegance and for the consistency of not having ? hexes, although the increased difficulty is appreciated.
