PAYDAY The Heist is a wonderous little game that lets you and up to three other individuals take part in your very own movie-esque heists. Many of the game's level are fun homages to classic scenes from famous heist movies. The difficulty scales up quite well, from little challenge on the easiest difficulty, to a true test on the hardest difficuly. Each level has some variance bewteen play-throughs, meaning you won't always experience the same events each time. There is also the Upgrades system that allows you to develop in each of the three classes as you wish, unlocking news skills, items, weapons, and weapon upgrades.
The only draw back is that, with only six levels by default, the game can begin to feel quite repetitive rather quickly. But for that, one simply needs to just take a little break and come back another time and the game will still be just as enjoyable.
A fun, brash, insane, gory mess of a game. With enough moments of humor thrown in with sheer terror, Killing Floor is an impressively entertaining game. Fighting off wave after wave of increasingly powerful enemies is fun, but doing it with a group of your friends is incredible. Pick between the multiple classes and work your way up in the ranks to gain new benefits and bonuses to make the slaughter a little easier and your survival a little longer.
Garry's Mod is one of those games where, you play it extensively for a while, then let it fall off for a while, only to suddenly have the urge to play it extensively again at a later date. Its also one of those games where, you can load it up when you have nothing better to do just to screw around for a bit simply because you wanted to. It also has an interesting effect where you can simply jump in with the basic and still thoroughly enjoy yourself and never need to learn anything more, or you can spend a fair bit of time and really learn the mechanics and make some truly awe-inspriring creations and still be enjoying yourself.
Even when something goes wrong, you can't help but find some comedy in that it's just so silly and outrageous. Then there is the community. Perhaps the most dedicated game community around, they are at the same time incredibly creative, constantly producing amazing works that expand on the game in even more ways and allow an entirely new experience.
