Visit TBRN: The Beyond Radio Network Gamers' Group's profileIf your machine can handle it, this is the current be-all, end-all military combat sim (with the ability to be infantry, vehicle driver, AND aircraft pilot). Add in the mission creator (and editor) that are reasonably accessible to the average gamer, as well as additional (included) free "Scenarios," you've got endless hours of amazngly lifelike combat entertainment and goodness, even without purchasing any additional DLC's. Of course, if you do finally feel like this has played itself out, there is the already-out "Operation Arrowhead" DLC (which, by Steam's pricing, runs around US $10). Furthermore, the upcoming (slated) release of the "Private Military Company" DLC promises to add a completely different twist on the already-present gameplay dynamic, putting you in the shoes of one of the modern-day-stylized privately-owned Military Companies (one example of which is Blackwater, which as it happens is from North Carolina, my home state).
