Minecraft meets Metroidvania. It be good.
So long as you have played any of Telltales other titles (Sam & Max, Tales of Monkey Island etc) you will know what to expect gameplay wise. In terms of story, characters etc it is very good and faithful to the films. The last three episodes especially are very good. They could have fallen down a hole where various Tannens were the main antagonists however they sidestep this very well. Only gripe is that the "time travel" rules don't seem to hold up as well compared to the films. If you start poking at it and thinking too much it can get a bit plot holely. Overall very good, roll on season 2.
Considering all the reviews made it out to be a fairly average shooter I decided to take a leap of faith and was rewarded. This is a great single player shooter. Not many games create the same atmosphere that this does. Probably the best single player shooter I've played all year.
