Interesting game. Its success will depend on the story writing.

If they open the content up for the workshop things could get really interesting. Looking forward to see more.

Great game, by a great developing team that keeps adding content on top of a pretty solid base game. There are moral themes you can explore by enslaving the rejects of society, but mainly you just want to keep rioting to a minimum.

Man, I really hope at some point I received this POS excuse for a game for free.
The concept is good, the execution is horrible.

For sadomasochists only.

As good as it gets. Great AI makes playing the CPU a challenge. But it gets really tricky playing online. Still an active community going strong, years after the original release.

Tried this game out during the Free Weekend and... it's okay?

That is, okay for a pretty superficial base building strategy game. The theme is top notch, the decision branches are interesting, there is a degree of complexity to it, but overall it's easy to play.

But this is a Paradox game. So I was expecting something more. I rated this game as a thumbs down because it isn't as detailed as I wish it had been. And I feel there is little liberty as to creative base building because of some set parameters. But if you're looking for a fun game to play with a really easy learning curve, this might be it. This game definitely has potential, but I'm afraid that's only gonna show if there's a dedicated modding community involved to iron out some of its quirks.

I was expecting buggy 90's gaming throwbacks based on the screenshots. And it's a yet another wombie-game...
But the positive reviews and the low price during the Summer Sale convinced me to pick it up and give it a whirl.

I've been whirling since. I have been playing several hours and still can't decide whether I should continue exploring or expanding my base. Or moving my base elsewhere? I wouldn't know. I'm too wrapped up in this game and its surprisingly suspenseful gameplay.

This is more of a RPG than an action game, but you can't win on auto-pilot: you need a strategy and some decent reflexes. Or the firepower to make up for it. I can't even create a coherent review now that I'm not playing. I'm thinking of strategies to build and strengthen my community without invoking war...

The map has its limits but it looks pretty big and the side-quests seem endless, so this game will probably have me hooked for a good 100 hours or so. By far the best game I've picked up this Summer Sale.

Drunk diving is the best.

And thanks to this game, you don't have to worry about drowning.

As a bonus, you can kill all kinds of fish. And they don't necessarily swim away from you!

Well, if there is one game that simulates the life of a fastfood worker rather well, it's probably this one. Tedious and repetitive tasks, customers without patience, and someone from management who never shows his face ordering you to change up stuff every few days for no good reason. Things people working in the fastfood industry probably don't get in real life: betting on how many happy customers they can serve in a day, dating other fastfood workers through your inbox, quite bothersome safety inspections and $300 a day in profits.

Sadly enough, neither the realistic parts nor the additions are all that interesting. Timewaster with very slow progression. Keep working, keep getting achievements, spend money on recipes and upgrades, and other not so interesting stuff.

Maybe the boss fight at the end is superawesome. I wouldn't know. Can't be bothered to finish it.

It isn't that expensive, and it's definitely got hours and hours of gameplay. If you're into this kind of stuff, that is.

A simple game, but enough fun to buy it at its full price (because it's cheap). Pretty casual stuff, anyone should be able to play through this in a few hours. Except for the impossible level, which is literally impossible to get through. But fun fun fun.

Only downside to the game is that the multi-level provinces in the campaign always make you respawn at the first castle of the province. Thankfully, there aren't too may levels, but if you're stuck on the last castle, you get bothered by something as minor as this.

This game isn't gonna win an award anytime soon, but it's pretty good stuff, for a low price, and will probably run on any PC, no matter its specs.
