My personal favourite game in the Ys series, The game isn't that long, or that hard for that matter on both hard and medium, it didn't feel like the Ys i've came to love (that sir is why you grow some balls and play it nightmare).

To start with you got two characters, Axe weilding female and a eye ball wielding wizard.

Now the wizard is pretty easy to use .. too easy, makes half the bosses a joke and is a safe choice if thi is your first venture (His EX form is pretty coolio though)
The Warrior is how orgin (in my opinion) should be played, bosses suddenly become a challenge and the game becomes hella fun. (Her EX form is pretty nuts too)

There is a third and fourth character, Mr. X is <spoiler city> and crazy hard to play as and is required to unlock the true final boss (who needs to go die in a hole) while the fourth character you unlock through arena which are the main guys from previous Ys games.

The story could be considered weak in some aspects.

It's a pretty cash TD (with RPG elements) game that requires thought.

Been looking at it for a while, Decided to buy it on sale.
The game is actually pretty damn good if you like the "Final Fantasy Tactics" esq style of gameplay.
Proberly worth £15 to me rather than the asking price of £20 though thats just me.
