I love this game. It has great graphics, excellent environment, decent characters, enough voice actors to not run into the same one too often, and loads of game-time to play.
The only people who do not like it seem to be people who like those linear, I-don't-want-to-think games. If you are one of those people, don't buy Skyrim.
This game was another amazing rpg from BioWare. If you liked Knight of the Old Republic, then you'll probably enjoy this game as well.
