Differences from Kingdom Rush (Original)

Towers

Instead of the usual 4 towers you are given in Kingdom Rush, there are now 18 different towers, 5 of which you can bring into battle; mages, archers, barracks and area attack, all with their own twist. These towers unlock gradually, with progression. You can also now replay older levels, with your new fancy towers. Wanna go back to level 1 with maxed out towers? Go for it!

Heroes

When your Hero levels up, it stays that way, level progression is now tied to the Hero (of which there are 13, that unlock throughout the game). There are now upgrades you can add to your Hero, similar to how upgrades work with towers/reinforcements, you are given some points for your equipped hero after completing a level. This allows Heroes to not only level up with health and damage, but new perks and abilities.

Overall Review

If you enjoyed Kingdom Rush, you'll love Kingdom Rush Vengeance, it's still the same hands-on tower defence experience, with interesting levels, characters, music, and tonnes of pop-culture references for you to discover. There are no in-app purchases.

10/10 Fun, enjoyable tower defence, that lives up to the success of the first game.

-Spend first night in crappy shelter, cowering from whatever is outside.
-Fell a few trees, expand your base, maybe get to know the local wildlife better.
-Venture into a cave, get better gear, and stock up on supplies.
-Run into a mutant for the first time, spend all your supplies as you don't know what you're doing.
-Slaughter any cannibal that crosses your path, this is your only source of food now.
-As you eat your third family that day, you stare at your bloody hands, "wait... am I... the cannibal?".

10/10 would forget Timmy again.

Writing this review after close to 1000 hours on ESO.

This game has so much content, it's unbelievable. I have played 90% of my time on one character (which is unusual) and I still only have about 50% achievements. There is content available for all types of players.

I would recommend playing all the classes, however they can all be used effectively in end-game PvE and PvP.
