Why so edgy? I work and could easily get the items I want, but in my opinion, I think it's fun to trade, slowly working yourself up to the dream skin you want. I'm planning to move all my items over to another place, so I can trade with only the drops I get in game. I just think it's fun. I really wouldn't want to waste my money on this game anymore, and I'm pretty sure many others wouldn't want to as well. :toadPepe:
Welll this guy is the best example for the toxic part of the Cs Community
The guy you quoted not you :)

It sucks that the trading community is greedy and toxic. I loved the times back in late 2014 when I started with a case and got up to a 3 dollar skin through trading because people were actually caring and attempted to be even. I recently went back to trading again, but ever since around 2016, everyone that cared about trading left, only leaving the children and scammers that just inject themselves with greed, even declining a trade for a 5 cent skin with two 3 cent skins. Like many have said already, trading in CS:GO is just a hallow shell of scam bots, kids that do not understand basic trading math, thinking that they should get 178% of what their skin is actually worth, blocking you because your trade was even ended. It sucks, because trading was actually one of my favorite things to do when the community was still alive. I hope one day that trading could at least slightly come back, and I also hope that CSGOLounge can at least take the measures to ban and remove all of the stupid spambots, and allow you to report regardless of your trust level, since people can just easily give others items to increase their reputation. :doubt:
You are right - trading changed alot in last few years and i only got worse :(

Anyways, it's cs.money and you can use their name in your profile name for an additional 2%.
I already had a look at this site - and friends of mine already used it - so its not a big deal - its very nice

how do you even know a random add is for trading?

make the trading rule they should always post in your topic before the offer or invite.
and then use a website that gets people banned for scamming and mentioned on steamrep.

then they won't risk being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s.
At Rocket League Trading that wasnt a problem - most people write "add me to talk" below their trade

Because the vast majority of CSGO community consists of low educated obnoxious kids with the idea of getting everything right away stuck to their heads. A lot of good people who tried to make a good trade gave up on it and went directly to exchange sites. I for one would rather lose $1-2 on an item than deal with a bad attitude.

It's as simple as elementary school math:
- you have a good item and want to trade for an equally good item of the same or almost same value - you are the bad guy in this case, you'll be called a scammer, low life, whatever comes to their tiny minds
- you have multiple items and try to trade them for a single item in the same value range - the above example still applies
- you have one item and want to trade it for multiple items, again on the same value range - bad person, scammer, same applies.

The only way the trading forum will work for you is to offer a really good item and expect close to nothing in return. Or, if you want to get a better item in a trading, be ready to offer one of your kidneys as difference.

Just use exchange sites, or sell your skins and buy others, you'll have more peace of mind this way.
Yeah I am already started to check those exchange sites - the good thing about those is that they are legit and you dont loose that much money - If you sell your stuff on the steam market steam takes a very high "fee" (hope its the right word) :)

I have benn trading alot and no trading community was as toxic as the one from Cs. So many people are just trying to scam or lowball. Many other are just offensive and not nice at all. But why?
Update1: This discussion is not about complaining - I just wanted to know why :)
