EDIT August 2016: As of late I realized they have come back and started updating the game. I at the time, still don't recommend the game, but if you think you will like this game then check back regularly as it seems they are putting in a positive effort to get the game to a complete state.

Someone else already explained it perfectly, so I will just briefly say, the game has been in development for from what I have heard, 7 years. There has not been an update for 4 months as of this post, and on top of that, most updates only fix animations, or something to do with the combat that is so minor it really doesn't seem necessary.

On top of all of that, the support and feedback from developers when trying to contact them is non existent. I had contacted them multiple times about certain bugs that have never been fixed, and I had never received a reply.

Lastly, due to the fact that this is still "Alpha", the game has many glitches and crashes quite often. I just got a new gaming laptop for over 1500 bucks, and it still crashes every 10 minutes or so.



The one pro I have to say though, is that during the time that it does play, it is relatively fun to free run and fight, but really, that is all you can do. There is nothing to do but spawn enemies and fight, or run and climb things. If this game keeps updating at the pace that it is, there will most likely never be a completed game because it will be dropped eventually because there have been almost no noticeable changes at all in the past couple years.

This game can be fun, but it is very stressful and makes you sort of "give up your life" to even stand a chance because you could be attacked even when you are asleep. If you are not on 24/7 you might lose everything you built up for months in a matter of an hour. Not saying it is a bad game, but it is very stressful.

One of my favorite games I have ever played. I had it since near its release, and I have loved every change/update/event to be released. I still play it anytime I feel like playing a video game.

The game people say is very "grindy" in which you got to play over and over again to progress, but I highly disagree. I have played through the story numerous times, and it really does not take long. To go from three star to four star, you need a lot of elite orbs. People complain about this part in particular for the grind. If you just keep playing boss levels for a few hours you already have pretty much half of the orbs you need, or the money needed to buy half. It does not take very long at all. Going from four to five star does take a little longer cause the crystals needed are very high, however by this time, you are pretty much good to be able to clear most levels by yourself so you can easily get the crystals by just playing the game for fun.


EVERYTHING in the game can essentially be obtained for free. Let me elaborate on this:
the only items that "cost real money", are the promotional prize boxes every two weeks. HOWEVER, there are always people buying them and selling them on the auction house for a very reasonable price. I have gotten every item in this game buy using the currency I eanred ingame. I have spent some money on here, but only for "cosmetic" items I was a little short of. I happily spend money for energy every now and then to support the game but I usually just use them for guild hall items.

I understand many will disagree and argue with my post, however, if you enjoy the combat of the game, then you will not have any problem with the grind. I love trying to gain crowns from arcade and boss levels everyday. It is enjoyable in my opinion. Hope you all have fun and if you need help on missions let me know or ask for help in haven! An amazing game. This is definitely one of my favorite games. It has been three years and a half and I still love to play this game.
