Smoking Toads and Sipping Duckydrink Since 2004

Nobody is quite sure how my parents did it, but they're proud of their feathered and billed, monkey-tailed progeny. I kick back whilst sippin' on hot Dr. Pepper with more than a splash of Bacardi Silver (Duckydrink), then I log on looking to frag folks. CS:S and TF2 are the easiest places to find a good game since WoW sucked in the majority of the PC gaming population, though I do play in scheduled events in other games (a weekend of IL2 here, a realistic-length GTR2 race there, scrims in Enemy Territory and CoD:4 with some old buddies that still clan it up).

At the time of this writing, I mostly get my kicks in CS:S Gungame (turbo reverse deathmatch knifepro), TF2 (lotsa Warpath2), and DoD:S (exclusively on the 5th Ranger Battalion servers). L4D will be added to this list as more of my friends and acquaintances pick it up.

I also enjoy flying rubbish planes in IL2: 1946 multiplayer, fighting understeer and brake fade in GTR2, typing silly commands in Inform text adventures, finding new graphical adventures to play, plotting domination in Civ4/Alpha Centauri, running around like a ninny casting spells in Neverwinter Nights/Morrowind/Oblivion, and getting my ass kicked at Supreme Commander: Forged Alliances. I used to run around in MMOGs, but I got tired of the lowest common denominator these games attracted as they became mass market.

As you can see, my gaming tastes run the gamut of what is and has been available for the PC. I also buy the consoles to see what those crazy folks over in J-Land have been coming up with. Katamari Damacy, Odama (pinball RTS), Okami, Gran Turismo, Odin Sphere, Grim Grimoire, Valkyria Chronicles, Ace Combat, etc.

As if that weren't enough, I also partake of the occasional classic tabletop game, from Bridge to Warhammer 40K to Traveller, and even the occasional CCG or Clix game that piques my interest. Though I usually end up GMing tabletop RPGs, currently I'm playing an AD&D 4e game that alternates plot arcs with a 4e Shadowrun game.

Lately I've been toying around with the Atmosphir and Metaplace closed betas, making levels and such for each. I've also been trying to pick up Flash as a tool to inflict my game designing desires on the world at large.
