Really impressed with this game. Like every other reviewer here, I've been playing Pokemon games since 1995. 25 years later, this genre still holds up - and Temtem really nails it. Mechanically speaking, there isn't too much to learn if you've played the Pokemon games. Temtem's dual monster summoning mechanic is fresh and works well with support and tank moves. There's a lot of room to expand on it, too. The current roster of Temtem's feels thin, but it's still in early access. If you enjoy monster catching, battling, and breeding mechanics from the Pokemon series, you won't want to miss Temtem.

Devs don't fully understand how Cadian works. The rest of the factions seem to have most of their strong points and preferred units but gave us a half-baked version of guard. If you're here for only tanks, I can see you being somewhat happy, but if you're here for infantry you'll immediately notice the lack all commands, all heavy weapons, lasgun rerolls and their ability to damage in 8 and 9e. Virtually everything that makes an all Cadian infantry viable on table top is not here. Devs need to revisit this and reduce point costs.

I play this game like a rogue like, I've had multiple "playthroughs" though some are very short, some are longer than others. I've never once experienced a single thing from this DLC aside from one mech. I thought this DLC was somehow turned off, but the new mech tells me otherwise. Not too sure what's goin on, but yeah major let down.

Game is dead and devs abandoned it. It was available in an indie game pack for less than $.50 cents. Don't buy this unless you want to support a team that scammed us in 2013.
