The man who wanted to be a hero. The man who wanted the save the world. The man who wanted girls to throw their panties at him. This man has no life. This man is a nerd. This man shuns the world. This man... is black. This is that man.

I am 25 years old at the time of this writing. Throughout that time, I have been playing video games. But rarely do I find a game that truly makes me say 'this is what I've been waiting for.'
Fly'N is one of those rare gems. This is one of those games I have always wanted to play. A seamless, challenging, atmospheric platformer with an unusual method of control and gameplay; both in a good way mind you. Each of the four characters brings a new gimmick to the table, and the sheer, painstakingly creative level designs take advantage of them in a way that will simply astound you.
Everything about this game is beautiful. The asethetic, the gameplay, the levels (though, some of the rising levels are admittedly questionable), the music, and of course, the price! Its insane for Ankama to be asking a mere $10 for this. Most $60 games these days don't have a quarter of the quality and love you will find in this game. Christmas already came this year. It came on November 9th, 2012.
Pick this up immediately. Its everything you could ask for in a game in general, let alone a platformer.
Even if you have no interest in developing games yourself, this is a must watch of the highest order. You will find the road to creating some of the greatest games ever made was a rocky and dramatic one, and you get to see so in breathtaking 1080p. Aside from the main movie you get a crapton of extras as well, making it well worth the price.
PomPom Games got my attention with Astro Tripper, then kept me with Alien Zombie Megadeath. Because they established themselves as a solid developer for me with these two games, Mutant Storm was a no-brainer instant purchase for me, and I do not regret it one bit.
The gameplay is somewhat similar to Astro Tripper, only without the design flaws- slamming into an emerging enemy is no longer your fault, and there isn't even a hint of engine related slowdown. This in my opinion, is PomPom's best effort yet, and you owe to yourself to grab this if you like challenging, fast-paced arcade style action.
It's STILL all downloading. >>:
