A great action tower defense title. There's not many WW I based games, less so any that are particularly good. On top of being able to manually control the various weapon emplacements the player can also use various vehicles during missions. Toy Soldiers oozes charm and has fantastic design. The levels are based on real battles and the majority of the available equipment is based on real life counterparts, there's some fun little liberties taken but these are toy soldiers after all.

If you enjoy tower defense games and third person shooters there's a lot to like here.

The vintage sci-fi style of this is great. It has a slight twist on the bog standard tower defense formula in as much as each defense satelite's position can be rotated on it's orbit. This player is more restricted in how many towers can be placed than most games but has to keep on their toes and adjust defense positions throughout.

Worth buying if you're not tired of TD games and fancy something that does things slightly diffirently. That's not to mention the comedic, cheesy vintage sci-fi cutscenes with flying saucers on bits of wire.

I recommend against owning this. As a racing game it fails chiefly in the aspect that crossing the finish line first by no means makes you a winner. As a vehicular combat game it's somewhat flawed in as much as if you happen to get your vehicle destroyed you're stripped of any means to fight back. On the whole it's an entirely pointless exercise.

In it's favour it actually looks reasonably good and is Xbox joypad friendly.

I got this as a bonus freebie from an indie bundle and I confess I'd much rather have 'won' the virtual aquarium because even as an entirely passive experience it'd have been eminently more playable than this abomination.

A great mix of Tower Defense and RPG loot-em-up. Best played with a friend or three but still viable as a solo experience.

I already owned this on the 360 and got it again as part of a bundle on Steam. This is really well presented with great narrative. In a rather overpopulated environment this is something that stands out from the crowd.

A nice twist on the tower defense formula. This time around you guide and maintain a convoy through the streets of Baghdad and beyond all the while destroying alien gun turrets.

Controls are simple and it doesn't get bogged down by endless tower building options. Each level has medals to earn for ruthlessness, efficiency and directness allowing for differing approaches and replay value.

The graphics and sonics are pretty good too, voice acting is of a reasonably good standard even if the lines are somewhat cheesy. It's definitely worth trying the demo if you're an RTS or tower defense fan.

This combines elements of boardgames Risk and Pandemic with tower defense and puzzle video games. Rounds are fast to play and it's never the same campaign twice.
