Superb blend of FPS and MMO. Great if you want more out of shooters than solo'ing and not caring about your team. The high system requirements might be a problem, but because it's free you should give it a shot!

One of the best game stories out there. On top of that, the soundtrack is stunning and incredibly appropriate. Buy this game!

Finally on steam! What a phenomenal game. Ridiculous physics, over the top guns, crazy situations, emergent gameplay. Get it if the videos look at all interesting!

Side note: Has multiplayer that's a lot of fun! Co-op or against each other!

A crappier HoN/LoL. Play if you enjoy a sense of game design from 2003, when Warcraft3 was originally released. Seriously, nothing has changed, so... good if you want that, bad if you want any real improvements.

Space, Pirates, and also Zombies. Harkens back to Star Control, and will keep you busy for a long while. If it's on sale, BUY IT

Best roguelike of 2011. A surprisingly fun hybrid of the robotron genre, zelda, and Rogue.

A lot of fun co-op. Not many games on PC that are a lot of fun splitscreen, but this is definitly one of them.

Very similar to his previous works, "Knytt" and "Within a Deep Forest." Check those games out for free at http://nifflas.ni2.se/ to get a good idea of what this very atmospheric puzzley/adventurey type game is about.

A surprisingly fun hybrid of rythym games and RPGs. Likeable characters, good sense of humor, and some kickass tunes.

Still probably my favorite FPS to date. Really has everything great a military shooter should, and I doubt it'll be dethroned until Battlefield 3 comes out.
