What is the EFragC (European Frag Community)?
Introduction
The Idea of the EFragC was first developed by the Clan Leaders of the Irish Pirates [IP]. It all started off with the introduction of a new type of ban system called Globalbans by Soynuts.
[IP] required a facility where we could store all of our bans and demos in one place and not have to update each of our servers with the same bans manually.
After a short period of time using this script, we realised its potential and formed the idea of inviting all the clans we know to use the same system. It would make a better gaming environment for all to play with the knowledge that, if a client was banned from one server, they would be banned from every server in the same community. Banned from one, BANNED FROM ALL!
To most people it sounds like another version of Steambans or VAC, but we discovered another twist that gives the EFragC the upper hand. Not only will the member Clans use the same ban system, but it will also help populate everybody's servers. Discussions with other Clans revealed that they would be happier to play on servers within this community. Our goal is to have a variety of different servers, from standard CS:S, through to GunGame, DeathMatch, Zombie and even TF2 servers. Each Clan has a say in the community and has an appointed admin to help with the EFragC. This means that we can all play on each others' servers with the same peace of mind as if it were our own. As a community, it will be our rules, our way! Every Clan within the community will be able to voice their opinion and be heard.
Technology
The GlobalBan script allows for easy banning of a client. Once banned, the client is restricted from joining any server within the community immediately. If the client attempts to join any of the EFragC servers, they will be auto-kicked. A check is made against the mysql database on the main EFC server to see if they exist and if their ban period has yet to expire. The script will be installed on all servers and the server ID must match the ID inside of the server’s mysql table.

Advantages of a clan joining the EFragC:
-Your servers will increase in popularity
-Your Clan members can enjoy other servers within the EFrag Community as if it were their own
-If you are an EFragC member, any client banned from one server is also banned on yours. Keep the cheats out!
-You will have a huge choice of fully monitored, fairplay servers, with real power to punish cheaters - Banned from one, BANNED FROM ALL!
-You will have your own Teamspeak room with sub channels on the main EFragC server, so you can see how active other Clans are.
-Your Clan will be able to play more Wars against Clans that don’t cheat, and you will have a range of EFragC approved servers to choose from.
-Any FBG rated servers within the EFragC will make plinkage much more enjoyable and fair because our aim is to eliminate cheaters.
