~ History ~
BuildNation started out on Garrysmod running a 14 slot build server on gm_flatgrass. Not much later the server was changed to RP and a modified version of DarkRP was created specifically for the server. BuildNation was one of the first to have created custom classes such as hitman and builder, and over time it became more and more popular. An RP map was made and could be seen on several servers across Garrysmod. Several Bn custom maps even hit the news page of Garrysmod.com. Eventually the server was switched to build to change things up while a custom gamemode was being created. A lot more members began to show up, and eventually a custom build map was created.
