This is the epitome of classic first-person shooters. My second favorite in the first-person shooter genre, but nothing will ever top the Half-Life series. With suffering from one problem, no music during gameplay. Maybe because of licensing issues. I'll call this one "SilentQuake". Some like it that way, mainly because people think it's creepier that way.

UPDATE: Five years have passed, and Quake got a whole lot better! Smoother animation, enhanced graphics, quality of life improvements, and even included the soundtrack.
