This game was amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. I played through on the medium difficulty and found it offered exactly the kind of challenge I was looking for - a few deaths on bosses, but able to beat them after a few tries. I would describe it as more of a Zelda experience rather than a Dark Souls one. Tho, the master difficulty seems stupid hard for those interested in that type of masochism. The world is beautiful, the sound design was magical, I loved all the puzzles and collectibles scattered around the world. The story reminded me a bit of Majora's Mask. I think I put 20 hours in over 2 days to beat it. I couldn't put it down and that was a really refreshing feeling. Would love to see a sequel to answer some of the game's unanswered questions.

I went into this wanting a more casual, Zelda-like experience. My fault for not reading enough reviews before. Many of the negative reviews describe the combat being Souls-like, and had I known that before maybe I wouldn't have purchased the game. Luckily, there is a built in "No fail" mode which allowed me to still enjoy the rest of the beautiful world of Tunic. As long as you know what you're getting into, this is a great game. Very difficult combat, old school exploration with 0 hand holding and a lot of trial end error. If you are just looking for a chill Zelda clone, however, this aint it.

Best version of OMD. Great feeling for all the traps, trinkets and weapons, fun to try new builds, great co-op.

Same as every other negative review: I wanted to like this game. It's got a cute fox, beautiful landscapes to explore, magnificent music.. it could almost be a kind of Zelda game with puzzles. Unfortunately it feels unpolished and janky with platforming/edges. In the huge maps, specifically Chapter 7 it is so easy to get lost, there is no direction, I almost couldn't finish it. A lot of running around in empty spaces looking for what the hell you're supposed to do.

Early Access Review
Felt obligated to leave a good review. I'm enjoying the game. A bunch of people complaining after .5 hours of gameplay probably just because they got their $hit rocked... I want to see this game succeed. Yes, it needs work. It's literally early access. They could add load outs, fix bugs, re-balance. There is time. Stop saying a game is dead 3 days into early access ffs. It is not Battlerite. BR still has a community and I like to play it too, but don't compare this, it has different mechanics. Also, if you want to see the game grow and queue times shrink then don't be toxic in game....

♥♥♥♥ this game dude. This is the jankiest port I've ever seen. First of all, setting up your controller is a complete joke. Trying play online coop is a nightmare because there is no built in option for it even tho it existed on Xbox. Thankfully you can remote play now in order to trick the system into allowing couch coop, but wait! Your coop partner cannot use controller... In fact, they can't even use mouse, they just have to dual hand keyboard through a game that was not built for that at all.

Finally, there is no auto-save function so if you forget to save after every battle you're gonna have a terrible time. If you ALT+TAB out of the game and come back it ♥♥♥♥♥ everything up and you are sent back to the main menu. No save included! You LOSE! The 15 hours I have in this game have been spent as follows:

2 hours to set up the controller, navigate menus, set up characters
2 hours experimenting with remote play to try and find the least laggy connection/any way to get controller to work
4 hours replaying battles after losing progress because the game bugs out and sends me back to the menu

Ya, I'm good on that

OK, I am a fan boy and wanna like this game. The coaster building is pretty awesome, but the rest of the park building dynamic has been dulled pretty extremely since RCT3. Also the game crashes are waaaay too frequent... During loading, in game, just whenever and for no reason. And it will sometimes lock up so bad the only option is a hard reset on the laptop. Decent game when it's working but certainly not worth more than $10 max.

One of the best games I've ever played. I mean just everything is amazing. Yes it's worth the money. Might as well splurge on the dlc as well.

Super quality old school platforming action. Lots of fun and all skill based.

People complaining that this game is too simple... ya it's a flash game. That's why it's 3 dollars. Don't expect a lot, but it's a fun little time waster
