Bastion is an Action RPG game with a heavy focus on skill-based combat and narrative. The first thing that strikes you about bastion is the unique visual style. The world is beautiful and vibrant, yet retains a post-apocolyptic feel to it. The levels construct themselves as you play them, with pathways forming beneath your feet.

The Narrator, aka Rucks, accompanies you on your trip. He is essentially a mix of Morgan Freeman and the Old Spice Guy. His comments help provide depth and exposition to the world without ever feeling intrusive.

The combat feels great, with a variety of different weapons. The soundtrack is amazing, with a mix of American Wild Western, techno, and steampunk. The story amazing and tearjerking.

There is no one thing about this game that makes it great. Its the entire package. Every element mixes together to make a wonderful experience you should not miss.
