Defender of the single-player experience. It probably says something about gamers that I'd rather deal with even lousy AI than play games with or against other human beings. Therefore multiplayer is invitation-only challenge matches with close friends. Keep that in mind before you ask.

The best no money you'll ever spend. Plays like a single-player trading sim, but in a persistent world. An MMO for people who hate MMOs, the social elements never detract from the gaming experience.

Buy. Plug in wired XBox controller to your USB port. Play. MyPlayer mode is better than ever, all the other standard game modes are there and do what you expect them to. You want basketball, you got it here.

A very deeply flawed game, hard to recommend but for the fact that it's the only way to play simulation-style pro baseball on the PC. If you have a PlayStation 3, best to bypass this game and play MLB The Show on your console. A tepid recommendation at best.
