This game is most definitely worth the money for the nostalgia alone. Great, fluid gameplay, no visible flaws. Sonic is finally great again.
A game that is overlooked and neglected to the point of nausea. The amount of mods available for it and the frantic nature of the gameplay make it a very worthwhile purchase, provided you have a group of friends to play it with.
Despite the developer build fiasco, the game has been patched to an acceptable level and has no game-breaking glitches. It's an absolutely phenomenal co-op experience that is not to be missed.
