In some ways it's a 2D side scrolling Minecraft, incredibly addicting and well worth the price of admission. Plenty of hours can be lost just chilling and digging down exploring dynamically generated worlds to find the ingredients for tons of craftable items.

Torchlight definitley captures the feeling of Diablo and Diablo II and then builds on those games to create a casual Hack & Slash RPG experience that no one should miss.

Dungeons of Dredmor has a unique sense of humor and it's casual gameplay means that you don't have to have hours to devote to each session.
