Interesting take on JRPG's, with a very different and more dynamic battle system and an emphasis on tactics and party management. Fantastic looking game, some of the best visuals around today even though its a few years old now. Story is good, soundtrack very good (particularly the battle themes), combat is the highlight. Badly optimised port though, play it on a console if you have the choice.

To those who aren't yet aware of the charms of Bastion, I highly recommend picking this up. Story just flows so smoothly thanks to the fluid gameplay and godlike narration, and all the elements seem to fall into place perfectly. Extremely well crafted game, great soundtrack, and did I mention the godlike narration? Prepare to have your mind blown.

Absolute best adventure game I've ever played by far. The story is pretty damn good, the "puzzles" require actual thought and logic as opposed to "place object A in slot B (lawl)" and it's an all round memorable experience that I'd be more than happy to repeat (lawl again).
