Silt is a very short and atmospheric game that has a very straight forward style. The puzzles gradually increase in difficulty, but never expand the mechanics too fast, nor too little. The game is not hard and the positives stem mostly from the visuals and atmosphere while the gameplay is quite slow with some up beats.

This is a very good simulator of modern yugioh.

Now is modern yugioh good is a different question totally, to which the answer will differ from person to person. If you're looking to play modern yugioh then this is the right place to do that. There is barely any single player content which I think is a shame for casuals and people who would like to play against a non-real person. Speaking of casual, the game mode is pointless because it offers no rewards and is basically there just to test out a deck without negatives upon losing and a chance to run into a deck that's not going to beat you mercilessly.

Ranked is how you would expect, you can climb to platinum rather easily even with a medium power deck, but you will run into decks that will absolutely demolish you if you're not running high tier decks. Ranked and events are the only places where you'll earn rewards, which is a shame since it forces you to play ranked to keep playing the game without paying for packs. Events are fun depending on the event, some events barely differ from ranked, while some are very restrictive and force you to play a certain subset of cards which i think is more fun and makes you try out new, fun and less powerful decks.

The singleplayer aspect is that you have a "storyline" for a some archetypes, where you're given the deck to learn and play while also unlocking their lore. As a concept this would be really fun, but as you progress the decks change from duel to duel adding cards from even different archetypes to the cards you were used to playing. Sometimes they can be synergistic and sometimes they don't work at all giving you two different engines in the same deck completely. You don't learn too much from these "duel stories" if you already know the basics of yugioh and the only aspect for me that I might use it for is checking out an archetype that I might want to try out.

Overall it's a nice representation of what yugioh is now, if you like that then great, if you don't then this isn't for you. If I hadn't already known a decent amount of yugioh stuff before getting into this game, it would have been impossible to get into. If you're starting out or want a more casual experience I highly recommend duel links instead.

Probably my second favourite game of this "type" after HuniePop. Really fun to play, not very challenging though and double notes need to be spammed or they won't count sometimes.

A lot of fun for yugioh fans. Differs from the normal yugioh format, it's speed duels with 3 monster and spell zones. Somewhat grindy, because of the mobile game style, but it's still fun to play while doing something else, and then drop it for a few hours once you've gone through all the time sensitive resources, like standard duelists etc.

It takes the idea of the Original receiver, but makes it all around better. The atmosphere is gripping, gun mechanics are realistic and you start feeling the pressure in later levels. Can't say a whole lot more, very good guns, gameplay makes your heart beat at later stages and I don't regret spending the full price of the game on it.

A fantastic game with excellent visuals and a captivating soundtrack. Takes a long time to play, not a bad thing and is quite fun to navigate the terrain while avoiding enemies. Overall quite a good game and worth 30€ spent on it.
