To begin i have been playing BDO since the "stand alone" (for lack of a better term or NON steam) and would like to let it be known that the "stand alone" was alot harder then the Steam port but convenience was worth the switch. This is a game that can absorb your life and turned me from a gamer who would be playing 10 plus games at a time to only 1 my library speaks for itself and oppinions meen nothing when it comes to it. This game is a true grind and its because of this fact, that this game is pure gold to true classic gamers. Most off the negative reviews for this game are either from New age gamers, people whos rigs are garbage and apparently cant read, and people whos MMO standards were groomed by WOW or the final factor which is there is absolutely no way to pay to win. The only real micro transactions are costumes but you costantly recieve costumes (7 day) through quests and events. You "could" pay to win if... your confortable with giving someone the credentials to your steam account so they could log on and play, or if you payed cash for in game costumes then sold them on the market but they even covered their tracks their making the items only worth like 3 hours of grinding. You cant trade between charectors except food,water and potions. This game demands alot AFK play is a must but its rewarding and gives you something to look forward too, even if you leave you ALT fishing you want to get him good gear/equipment maybe a buff even, and that makes you excited for when you check on their status to see what they earned and that leads to a monopoly of finance related things that can consume you soul. This game is amazing I have literally bought 5 copys for friends/family this christmas season and its great when you get someone hooked on something this awsome.

For 10$ you will get no less then 100 hours of gameplay and I say that much because itll take you that long to go to all the main towns and half-ass explore the map and become awakened.
