Rex Mundane

Clever, funny, pointy-clicky goodness. Some of the puzzles are a bit insane, and a good deal of the humor is very in-jokey, but 'twas ever always thus, eh?

Utterly Fantastic Game. Fun to play and funny as anything, brilliantly realized world that twists physics like it has a fetish. One of those games whose sheer awesome has elevated it to cultural artefact-status. It's milk, put simply, is fortified with what the world needs.

Hey, so yeah this is free now. It's that thing that everyone's played and talks about. Don't even try to resist. Also, if we all play hard enough, maybe Valve will finally get around to HL2:Ep3 or the Meet the Pyro video.

Fun and affordable implementation of a fairly simple idea. The banter is great to listen to, the TF2 unlocks are a bit of fun. That said, after about four hours I has already been through about 75% of what it had to offer, got the unlocks, heard most of the banter. The remainder is basically unlocking more card decks, table art, etc., and since it's the same game over and over (and a decent one at that, mind) my heart really isn't in playing over and over.

What I'd love if this game could pull off in the future is to, a la TF2 f'rinstance, keep adding content for people who bought it at any time, like new opponents from other gaming properties, unlocking stuff in other games, etc. Going no further than gaming properties Telltale owns (and dipping into TF2 again) I don't see a reason why I shouldn't be playing cards against Guybrush Threepwood, The Scout, Gromit, Homestar, etc. Its a good idea that they really ought to keep doing more with, but even if they don't, I got my $5 worth.
