Not Recommended

Don't waste your time on this game.
There is no one (apparently) working on this game anymore and it has died a sad and pathetic death.

On 21 September 2016, and after the change from Drago to Gamigo, this game was released to the public. When I first logged in, it was reminiscent of the early days of early access (barely playable). Then, 18 days later (09 October 2016), I respawned into a place that I have no hope of getting out of; I just died, respawned, locked up, shut down, repeat.

To this day, 7 weeks later, I have yet to get a response from anyone that has anything to do with this game.

It is a failure, don't waste your time with it, you'll only be frustrated.

May the developer's armpits become infested with the fleas of 1,000 camels and their crotches be tormented with the crabs of 1,000,000 w-hores.

I was a firm supporter of this this game since the Beta-testing days.
I immediately purchased the Collector's Edition, partly for the perks but also partly because is was the best way I could support the game and the developers.
I felt patience was needed for the developers to iron out the glitches and bugs, before tearing them a new one. Well, I've been patient. I feel I've been BEYOND patient.

The developers give empty words and broken promises.

Do NOT make the mistake of buying this game and expecting it to get better than it is.....it is as good as it will get, I think, and that is barely mediocre (IMO, some of the most recent updates really messed the game up beyond all hope).

Save yourself the money, time, and aggravation. Go find somethin that will work or at least that developers respond to when/if there is a problem......the developers on this game started strong in that department; they seem to go through phases of ULTRA-HELPFUL to the sound of crickets.
Lately...it's mostly been a roaring SILENCE from them.....though, it looks like some have taken a break from their cranium and anuses game, so they've been a bit more responsive, in recent days.

why have you played this game for soo many hours:

you do know there are other games out there? Games that actually work, are finished and are generally good.

IMO, it is a fantastic sign that as soon as the old team (DRAGO) became involved again (latest update/patch) they reopened the lines of communication. There is hope my review will return to being a positive one.

And that was when? 2-3 years ago? What exactly did Drago Entertainment to actually deserve my respect or my money? Nothing!
Don`t you see how silent they are now? They don`t dare to explain what`s the exact situation with Otherland! They aren`t transparent with their players and customers at all!!
Please, stop appraising a company as shitty as Drago. They don`t deserve anything.
If they would be as serious and as helpful as you claim they are they won`t let Otherland in the mess that it is now!!!

I disagree about Drago.
At least with them a problem got a response from them within 24 hours. It took Gamigo about a month to even notice my reports and posts about a problem. They never did get it fixed (or if they did, it was after I uninstalled it--MONTHS after the problem happened). I not only got quick replies from Drago, issues were fixed pretty quick.

Drago is the one who brought the game into ruins, not Gamigo.
Or maybe Gamigo`s fault too but it isn`t as big as Drago`s one.
They should had left the game how it camed from Gamigo and just iron out few glitches that were in the game. And that`s it. Nothing more.
What they did insted was completley overhaul the tutorial to 2 hours long, shitty character customization and MMO-brower like class selection and other bugs and broken quests and overpowered NPCs. This is the mess that`s Otherland.
