Machinarium is a whimsical adventure game. It's about a little robot trying to save his girlfriend. The story is thin and not entirely unqiue, but it's actually quite effective, especially with its use of thought bubbles instead of text or voices. Even though the story is great, the truly great aspects of Machinarium are its art and its puzzles. The puzzles can be quite difficult, but most of them are challenging and a lot of fun to solve. I recommend Machinarium if you're interested in whimsy, great art, wonderful music, and/or fun, inventive puzzles.
