Are you actually telling me that you're denying me a service and not refunding me because I paid for it and didn't wait until it was free?

I've read on the forum if you contact the devs using the email listed on their site you can, but it might take a lot of waiting and some back and forth with them. It's possible though*

I'll give this a shot just to see.

Honestly, OP; By that you're entitled to report scam/fraud since the promise was not fulfilled and what was advertised was not granted.
However, with it being an "in progress" game; I'm not sure how the rules apply anymore. Especially given Steam's shoddy business practices enabling any "developer" out there to do the exact same thing pulled here.
Though I believe promises, especially where written and paid towards, amount to something according to the law.

In topic Crashes and crashes my PC in addition
(I realized I posted in the wrong section).

It worked somewhat alright the first time around after 40 minutes spent trying to join a game, Rust froze and nearly crashed multiple times while doing so (after I just let it do its thing with no clicking "fix"), I was able to play with only minimal lag.
(I did rage quit however when the game glitched ater a re-spawn and no buttons I pressed allowed me to get up from my slumber).

After that however, my PC just keeps freezing up and locking (or actually crashing to nothing and I need to hard reset). Other programs crash/freeze up. Bringing up Task Manager is next to impossible, and if I can actually load into a game; I can take perhaps 3 steps before it freezes up on me now.

Also the bears run in circles on spot.

I'm not sure what's going wrong if I was able to mess around with it the first time after the 40 minute waiting period for it to load including multiple crashes?
Legitimately asking considering how many years this game has been up for and the most recent update was to add "wood armor".

The fact that it crashes and freezes up my PC kek.
Or that it takes, on average, 40 minutes to join a match with a 1 in 5 chance of working.

We both tried playing with Steam users set to OFF as well.
No luck I'm afraid.
I mean my buddy and I both got the game but he isn't showing up as a friend who has Broforce (the main area friends appear on Steam).
But I can see when he's playing it on Steam through the options area for friends (on the Broforce tab where I can hit to play the game as well).
Neither of us can join each other's Versus Campaigns etc.
We can't see each other on the online servers
We've messed with the "Play with Steam Users" option and all that as well.
But we can watch each other's games in Broforce (or so Steam options says we can).
My buddy also comes up as a person who plays Broforce when on here in addition.

What are we doing wrong here exactly that we can't play a simple match together?

In topic Connecting To Server. . Could Not Connect
This error greets me every time I try to load into a pre-existing save co-op file with my game partner.
There's no problem at any time regarding connecting to the server when beginning a new game in co-op mode; only when trying to load our save file.

Can anyone help us out?

In topic Display and Monitor Crash
I'm seriously getting sick of this myself, I'm mid match, we're doing well and then BANG the damn display driver's going bust and my monitor has then switched itself off entirely or I'm granted a pure white screen with a lovely crash report. Fix this already, please.

Yes, every time. So I skipped trying and from in-game I can edit my settings from the options there.

It just stops responding with the white screen typical of unresponsive programs, and I'm forced to close the program. Windows 7 here, any way to resolve this?

For real? I wasn't minding the directions much. Serves me right haha XD

Oh boy i only found 20 and later noticed you dont simply climb down where the barrels are like in the original game but you have to look for doors lol....gonna restart it now. I guess that makes like 50 more for the hidden areas.

It's not too difficult actually, I found all 70 my second run around. However I just cannot get by the two slig area on the two differing leveled platforms with the "activate bomb for slig to go boom!" and having to lure two Mudokons away so they don't get blown up. no matter how long it is, the little ♥♥♥♥♥ won't work again - they just stand there. Saving first three is a piece of cake though, you can chant the second you get there.

It's funny that there's so many glitches (that or they intentionally made everything a breeze on normal?) that this game is easy up until that secret area. Hadn't too much of an issue in the original and this is suddenly impossible which I can't get my head around.

I have to agree with sonic here. I have been waiting for this game since last summer. I installed it yesterday and attempted to play it. Black screen, oh ****! Then I decide to try with the controller unplugged. Look, it loads. Really, this didn't even have an early access flag. I have no desire to play this with a keyboard.

This morning I looked at this forum, and the devs number one priority is dead zones. Come on, maybe start with a working controller. I have seen posts from users of every OS with controllers not working as intended. Makes me wonder what what the devs will do if Steam ever releases a controller. Sorry, we only support keyboards, I mean xbox 360 controllers.

I'm actually rather frustrated at the fact that there's this many "kinks" to work out as there are. I didn't intend on playing this with a keyboard either and yet here I am having to do so. You'd think after waiting the length we have that there would at least be less issues such as this, I certainly wouldn't have minded waiting an extra week if it meant having worked with a controller I had (for example: At least a PS3 controller, it was originally released for the PlayStation anyway and so was this port, so I guess that's why I'm also frustrated in a sense).

In topic These spinning blades are impossible
Since Abe's movements are extremely delayed in this, you need to time it just right. Takes me a couple of tries each time. Never had this much trouble with the original though! Haha
Since the original one told you it was 27 or whatever, this game doesn't appear to tell you.
I ended up beginning a whole new game naturally since the checkpoints don't carry onwards.

Hi. We don't currently support any controllers other than the 360 controller.

Well that sheds a LOT of light that, but not the keyboard issue with throwing? Am I seriously stupid because I honestly can't figure out how to get that working? On controller it's the opposite in that I can aim but not throw.
