Surprisingly deep combat in this atmospheric masterpiece.
You are dropped in a random place on a map, where waves of creatures come to attack you. After each wave, a shop opens in a different part of the map. So you have to time to the shop carefully. You don't want to be caught out in the open when the most creatures are attacking you... unless you bought a flamethrower... Are you sure you want to weld that door shut, or do you need to get through it later?
Start on a low difficulty setting, get the body armor at the shop, and aim for their heads.
You get a nice amount of choice of style in this Defense game, balancing between the amount of damage you do yourself and the amount of damage your traps do. And it's nice to see orcs explode in tiny bits or run screaming while they are on fire.
I would like it if there were more different lines of combad shouting. Perhaps in a DLC?
