Official Region 1 Franchise of the CGS

The Carolina Core is one of the six original franchises in North America of the Championship Gaming Series. The CGS is the first global professional gaming league with salaried players and large prize purses. The Core is run by General Manager Mark Dolven and has ten professional gamers spread across four different games. Those titles are Counter-Strike Source, FIFA08, Dead or Alive 4 (one male, one female) and Forza Motorsport 2.
