Capture the Flag at it's finest!

Half-Life 2 Capture the Flag brings the familiar Capture the Flag game to HL2. It pits the Rebels against the Combine in a fast-paced battle over the flags within the graphics rich environment of the Source engine. The mod is an homage to the fast-paced run and gun style of CTF and includes many familiar features found in other capture the flag modifications. We want to make this mod the best CTF game around, so head over to www.hl2ctf.com to download the mod and let us know what you think! You can now join our new forums at forums.hl2ctf.net and let us know what you think of the latest release!

this game is the opposite of fun. Its one of those games like galaga or ikragua where its pretty much jsut straight up memorization of what the enemies are going to do, and then you combine that with enough flashing lights to make anyone get a seizure. So then not only are you trying to dodge all the stupid enemies it throws at you while you are fighting a boss, you have to play "what flashing light is just background noise and which are actually trying to kill me". And then you start playing survival, in a really tense spot, then the music goes to a quiet or slow spot, and then suddenly your weapon is useless so you die. And then you get spawned right in the middle where all the enemies are clumped up together so you die shortly thereafter. Too much visual noise, even if you turn it down to 50% and it just becomes a game of kill the boss as fast as you can so the game doesn't spawn a shit ton of enemies at you and you get into a chain of dying. I really, really dislike this game.

This game is nothing short of amazing. Its cheap, on pretty much on everything now (pc, mac, ps2, other consoles probably) and is hilarious. This is one of those games where you have to look around and talk to everyone to get the full atmosphere. All of the characters have their own memorable personalities, and small little details like the bullitin board and how the characters interact with each other make the game that much more awesome. Yahtzee's praise of this game is completely deserved, and i have thoroughly enjoyed playing it so far (haven't completed it yet). Why haven't you gotten ittttt

a fun game for only 15 dollars! I hear it compared to DOTA but i have not played that but i cant say. Once they add new modes and maps then this will be even better, class based fps with turrets that you can build and AI controlled bots that both teams have.
