Everyone should play Cave Story. EVERYONE.
New Vegas is Fallout 3 with more direction. The main storyline is cleaner, more interesting, and better structured. The game has mostly recovered from its at-launch glitches, thanks to prompt patching.
What you're getting here is a sprawling, open world, fascinating quests, and a significant timesink. Post apocalyptia sure is a lot of fun.
