A slower-paced but intricate strategy game. It's more rewarding than most Paradox sims, and allows players to control just about any country extant during the industrial revolution. It takes some time for everything to sink in, but it's not a number and slider-slog like some games of its ilk. Pretty maps, too!

I have lost a large chunk of my life to this game. One of my all-time favorite strategy-simulation games. The campaign is deep and lengthy, and little feels better than picking apart your rival nations as your army swells within their lands!
