Hey, check out this article I found. It's the reason I eventually decided not to get the 4-year extended warranty that would have cost me $200+. Panasonic Plasma flat-panel TV's have a less than 2% repair rate in the first three years of service + the majority of the repairs that were needed were covered in the first year's manufactor warranty.
