iCHOR was established in 2002 as a competitive Counter-Strike gaming team. Our original goal in iCHOR was to create a professional e-Sports squad to represent Australia and compete against international teams professionally. We have been there and done that.

In 2002, iCHOR’s multi-gaming contingent won several titles at the Australian World Cyber Games National Finals and went on to represent Australia at the WCG World Finals in Korea for Counter-Strike, StarCraft, WarCraft III and FIFA. The same year iCHOR became the first Australian multi-gaming team to have WCG representatives for four gaming platforms in one clan.

In 2005, iCHOR raised the bar and produced the top players for all games at the World Cyber Games Australian Finals with representatives covering Counter-Strike, WarCraft III, Halo 2 and StarCraft. The same year iCHOR had expanded internationally with teams in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States, with iCHOR’s Indonesian team representing at the World Finals for their own country.

iCHOR is the first, and only, multi-gaming team ever to win all events at the WCG Australian National Finals and represent their country an entire team at the Grand Finals. Of the four games iCHOR competed in, 3 of the 4 teams finished top 8 in the world, with a Bronze Medal awarded in Starcraft Broodwar.

iCHOR is a highly successful results orientated team in Australia with eyes on championship titles and international representation.
