TL;DR: FREE (as in soda) Online Multi-player Chess.

Constantly updated game. It's free.
You wanna play chess for free with a buddy? You play chess with a buddy.
Features keep being added. The Devs care about their brand!
Went from You can move peices! To LOOK AT WHERE YOU CAN MOVE!

The previous paragraph was a work of humor mixed with facutal information. Please Blame Canada.

Borderlands 2: We had more time this time.
TL;WR

Pandora! Still the same Mad Max psycho breeding ground as the first, just a few details are changed.

The Characters (Classes)
Axton(commando): divorced ex military bad-ass. is actually a very decent guy.
Maya(siren): ex god figure of a planet-wide cult. Baddass bookworm with a sense of humor.
Zer0(assasin): bored space-ninja bounty hunter. Speaks only in haiku, likes to fly around (as ninja do), and bore holes to peek at the the other side (of the hot springs probably)
Salvador(gunzerker): cowboy mama's boy that likes to share his abundant fun. has taken more steroids than duke nukem
Gauge(mechromancer): ex high-school murderer on the lam. is a wrench wench with a gun, and a death bot... with lazers in his head..
Krieg(Psycho): product of a mystery! is an interesting study in how writers like to imagine ID vs Ego

The Classes
Commando: Throw down your 'little lady' and let the party start. can be upgraded to have rockets, stick on almost any surface! (usually still works even if its in a wonky position), or even have 2 of them.
Siren: Healer! DPS! use your bio magic on your friends and foes! shoot your friends in their face with any gun to heal them!
Assassin: use a gun to penetrate EVERY TARGET(break the game) in a line. Fly around with your lazer katana.
Gunzerker: unbind your re-load key! shoot all the things!(thats as deep as it gets)
Mechromancer: unbind your re-load key, then rebind it! no matter where you aim, your gonna hit and its gonna hurt ALOT
Psycho: Fire? NO FIRE!(even though its cool and heals). Turn into a Charger(from l4d)'s cousin with a buzzaxe and an ability to jump! kill everyone with your explosions to be REBORN! cleanse them! CLEANSE THEM ALL!

If you liked 1 your gonna like 2. Bobby Kot- i mean Randy Pitchford decided to pull his writers out of their alcohol induced coma's(after what he did to them in the first game...) and tasked them with trying to put a story in the game. the writers succeeded in writing a better story then the first one, in the same way that a tattoo artist totally blended an old tattoo into a new one(old one is still there, and might be shown, but its in the background).

DLC: if you plan to play this game till u cap, then DLC is a must just for the sake of variety of places. each of the dlc's (not skin packs) have a specific level they are meant to be played at. if u get them all, you can choose to level up in the dlcs and only do the main story missions.

If you have to choose 1 dlc: Tiny Tina's
its the best crafted (still has stuff that needs fixin' and wont) with nice gaming/dnd shoutouts. also there is some nice charicterization in it.

There is lots of Space, You (not really a spoiler)are the Pirates and eventuallly Zombies; Bounty Hunters will sai hi when you get their attention enough.

You have a mother ship that has enough space for certain ammounts and sertain sizes of ships. You go around getting more data untill you level up. you get new weapons from trades or drops (depends if its a friend or enemy). you can bribe your way and avoid fights or not.

2d top down with an area scanner that pauses the game. lots of weapons an ships, and a lot of vialble combos that you can use. lots of replayabllitly with 2 holiday themed mods built in.

This is steampunk team based aireal combat arena. There are 3 Specialist loadouts: Pilot, Engineer, Gunner. 2 teams of variying sizes of players and ship types. if you get overwhelmed, remember: listen to the captain! the ONLY detraction from this game is that its players know it as 'Lobbies of Icarus'.

Gameplay is first person for all classes, when you pilot the ship the veiw changes to a 'claustraphobic' 3rd person. knowing where to be and what to do when u get there is key, which comes with time. the 'meta' is all ships and their loadous and the loadouts of the crew can counter 1 v 3 in a 3v3 match (12 v 12 people)

This is NOT a 'game'. This is a 'Pick Your Adventure' story. The story presented in it is plausably realistic and detailed (especially with the lack of detail at times, REDACTED). It takes you through a year of someone who's depression has worsened(REDACTED). What happens in their life from significant other to family and friends(REDACTED, especially now). To any one that HAS depression, this WILL trigger you, please know that.(if REDACTED)

For those that have no idea of what Depression is at all play this 'game' and actually internalize the story, immerse yourself in it while you play it. While someone without depression might say: this is unrealistic, the charicter can just X, the charicter COULD, but cant. The options ARE there, but your depression levels are too high for you to be able to act on them. I hope that this could be used as a teaching/learning tool(which is how i think we should look at it, since REDACTED).

As for any of the drama (gamer gate or otherwise), its a shame that something that COULD/SHOULD be used for GOOD (this 'game' can totally be used as an aid to teach) has to deal with being involved with such things (really neutral statement). Silver Lining you know?(postivily inclined statement)

Everyone remembers the first dlc: Horse Armor. It only went downhill from there. The humor in this game is derived from gamer knowledge, and theres a bit of it. The first part of the game is fairly quick, the second part is where the real 'meat/meat substitute' is, meaning thats where the 'real' game is. its a fun short platformer. i picked it up for $0.98 and its a great buy at this price.

tl;dr: pokes fun at the gaming industry and is a silly platformer. great buy if its on sale!

This game should make any fan of NES/SNES/GB Zelda games feel right at home for about 30 seconds. After that time you are probably gonna be dead. This game is not for casual fans, you need to think how your going to attack, and who you attack first. Its 'Nintendo Hard' but if your smart, you can win. This is not a game for kids/ those sensative to dark material, this is a game for teen and above, it's a shame that Nintendo decided against picking this title up, the game deserves to be on a console, and dev deserves the exposure. ^_^

Game Dev is a CASUAL game. This is a four letter word to me. Had i noticed that it was a CASUAL game, i would never have given it a chance. Im glad that i did, i found a casual game that has the same addictiveness as any civ game.

The backgrounds are empty, the people in it remind me of a facebook game, and the mechanics feel like they were ment to be played like a facebook game, so you know, kinda repetative. There are no ingame rewards like shirts, or dresses or anything. There should be a research project to allow you to port games. If there is i have yet to see it.

To me, this game is a great buy @ 5$ or under, sorry Greenheart. These are the only gripes i have with the game, just more stuff to help immersion. The amount of gamer lore and trivia in here is phenominal! From old editors of magazines to the true timeline of video game consoles, this game is packed with stuff that only a gamer from the 80s or before would get. Srsly the lore is nuts, srsly. ^_^

Great game Greenheart! Greenheart, Please feel free to use all that steam cash and make more games with the same attention as you did this little timesink, oh and thanks for making me see that 'Casual' does not mean boring/dumb/many four letter words!

TL;DR = Great under 5$ game.

This is a 4x game. There are 3 races and with the DLC 1 new faction for each race is added, bringing the total 'races' you can play up to 6. For a single player game it takes me around 3.5 hours, and thats with 2 hard bots one easy bot and me. Multiplayer is even more fun, since u can colab and even help move each other around (the vasari rebels share their phase tech).

I dont think ive ever uninstalled this game. This is my default time sink game, and its fun every time. If you like Sword of the Stars, you will like this, only difference is the smaller tech pool and you cant modify your ships hardpoints. I just wish that the publisher would release more dlc (like this is a really bad complaint). If you like 4x, the idea of having ships so big that they are the size of planets, and commanding multiple fleets in realtime to own the galaxy, then this is a game for YOU! ^_^

eXplore: planets for artifacts, the galaxy for planets and your enemy
eXperiment: research your titan your factions ultra-flagship, can macross missles with lasers!
eXpand: that oceanic world would be perfect to house the seat of your propganda machine!
eXtermanate: TITANS dont change the flow of the battle, titans are a wave that assure victory.

tl;dr compare other 4X to this.

Its a very quick game, u find a way for your little car to keep moving to the right. it wont take but an hour of constant play to finish. its very cute, i think its meant for a touch device (which i dont own currently).
