NOTICE: This is nothing more than FlatOut 2 with better graphics and a slightly better engine. And it comes with two big drawbacks - no LAN play, and forcing you to use Games for Windows Live (if you don't - you can't save your game).

FlatOut 2 is, for me, the BEST racing game out there. It is definitely NOT a racing sim - the physics are all out of proportions (in a good way!), and smashing into your opponents is highly encouraged! It has decent graphics considering it's age, and to top it all off a wide and excellent assortment of music that will get stuck in your head for years.
The online community is still alive(!), and 90% of the time you can find games being played online - however, the absolute best way to enjoy the game is to play with friends - either in a LAN or online.
There's something in here for everybody.
